TWO men aged 19 and 23 have been charged with domestic violence offences over an alleged serious assault of a 47-year-old man last month.
The 19-year-old has been charged with one count of unlawful serious harm, two counts of aggravated assault, one count of engaging in violent conduct and one count of being armed with an offensive weapon at night.

The 23-year-old has been charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of being armed with an offensive weapon at night and one warrant of apprehension.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Warren Scott said a new operation had been launched to ensure those who were at risk of ongoing offending would be monitored.
“Northern Territory Police have launched Operation Sherman, focusing on repeat and high risk domestic violence offenders and victims,” he said.
“I encourage all victims of domestic violence to reach out and to report matters.

Both men have been remanded in custody to attend Darwin Local Court on January 27.
