A 30-YEAR-old man has been arrested in relation to two alleged indecent assaults in Katherine and will face court.
Police received a report just before 9am Tuesday that a young girl had been approached and allegedly assaulted while riding her bicycle along an alleyway behind Frangipanni Crt.
Police also received a report that a man of similar description approached and allegedly assaulted another woman in a shopping centre shortly before that alleged incident.

The man was arrested about 3pm Tuesday by detectives from the Katherine Criminal Investigation Branch.
He has been charged with assault a person indecently and indecent assault on a child under 16 years.

He has been refused bail and will appear in Katherine Local Court today.
