Specifically, this fibreglass one which was stolen from an Adelaide City Library display in Rundle Mall.
SA Police are digging for information on the specimen which remains missing.
They have released CCTV footage of three suspects skulking out of a building with the skeleton, about 4.15pm on Sunday November 26, 2017.
The three men got on to a bus, with one paying the driver while holding the skeleton — and a Woolworths bag — in his other hand.
It’s likely there would have been some lighthearted ribbing on the bus, but there’s nothing humerus about crime.
