Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra Jonas, 41, has been in the city since the start of June shooting for her new movie, The Bluff, alongside New Zealand actor Karl Urban.

The movie is set in the 1800s and follows the story of a former female pirate, played by Chopra Jonas, who must protect her family from her past.

On June 25, the actor posted a photo to her Instagram story of her husband and popstar Nick Jonas captioned “Daddy’s home”.

Chopra Jonas has been spotted across the Gold Coast including lounging by the pool at the Langham Hotel, making sandcastles on the beach at Surfers Paradise with her daughter Malti Marie and celebrating with family aboard a yacht in the Broadwater.

She has shared videos of her family featuring her “angel baby” Malti, her best friend, her godson, her “brother from another mother” and her mum.

“Home is where the heart is,” Chopra Jonas posted to Instagram.

The Bluff, which was brought to Queensland through the state government’s Production Attraction Strategy by Screen Queensland, is tipped to inject more than $42.3 million into the local economy.
