Hold onto your horses and saddle up Gold Coast - a new cowboy-themed bar with a mechanical bull is hoofing it to Surfers Paradise.
The Cowboys bar franchise - with a novel mechanical bull installation - promises “the best eight seconds of your life”.
Cowboys bar has been in New Zealand’s adventure tourism capital Queenstown for 16 years but now is making the journey to open another in Australia’s tourism capital.
It will saddle up in the heart of the Gold Coast near the Surfers Paradise riverfront.
The venue, complete with a mechanical bull, is a hotspot for line dancing, pool tables, shuffleboard and karaoke.
In an Instagram post, Cowboys promises the bull will deliver “the best eight seconds of your life”.
“Get Bucked! Our mechanical bull will be making its debut at the new Surfers Paradise location,” the post read.
Cowboys will be located at 2/58 Cavill Ave Surfers Paradise, next door to the notorious Casablanca Gold Coast nightclub, which has faced multiple warnings from the city council.
