Woman hospitalised after Breakwater assault
No one has been charged three days after a woman was attacked outside a popular Breakwater entertainment venue.

No one has been charged three days after a woman was attacked outside a popular Breakwater entertainment venue.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said it was believed the woman was assaulted by a man on Fellmongers Rd around 11.15pm on Tuesday night.
“She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the man fled the scene,” she said.
“Despite a thorough search of the area the man was not located.”
It is believed that two are known to each other.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics transported the woman, who is aged in her 30s, to Geelong hospital with upper body injuries.
A Barwon Health spokesman said the woman was discharged once she was stable and well enough to go home.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV, dashcam footage or any other information that could assist police should contact Crime Stoppers.
