With only one more sleep until Christmas, Santa has made a surprising early visit to the Bellarine, swapping his sleigh and reindeer for a plane and parachuting into Barwon Heads.
The region has been buzzing with festive season fever and Santa teamed up with Skydive Australia Great Ocean Road to bring even more excitement with the holiday drop-in.
John O’Sullivan, chief executive of EXP Co – the adventure tourism company that owns Skydive Australia – said the business was excited to help thrillseekers across the country tick skydiving off their bucket list in 2025.
“Skydiving is the ultimate sense of achievement – an overdose of adrenaline as you free-fall for around 60 heart-racing seconds at speeds of up to 200 km/h, followed by a peaceful glide under your canopy for 5-7 minutes, all while soaking in breathtaking views,” he said.
“It’s one of the most exhilarating experiences you can have.
“Skydiving is thrilling no matter where you land, but when paired with stunning views, it becomes euphoric.
“Skydive Australia has nine breathtaking locations, including iconic spots like the Great Ocean Road, known for big waves and spectacular coastal vistas.”
Whether Santa arrives via sleigh or parachute at your home this Christmas, the Geelong Addy wishes all its readers a merry and safe Christmas.
