Grand opening planned for Cairns North Hungry Jack’s

The finishing touches are being added to Cairns’ newest fast food outlet ahead of a grand opening planned for this weekend and next week’s international Hungry Jack’s conference.
Less than 16 months after plans were submitted to Cairns Regional Council in June last year the new dual-lane drive-through outlet is now ready to open.
From Saturday, October 12, Hungry Jack’s customers can check out the new restaurant built on the site of the demolished Mobil servo across the road from the 7-Eleven fuel stop.
Featuring an illuminated burger installation in the ceiling the new building has taken shape at a lightning pace to now have the fit-out, signage and menu boards completed.
Workers were busy at the restaurant on Thursday making final preparations.
Released nationally last week, Hungry Jack’s new space-inspired Cosmic Storm and Space Shakes will be available at the new store for a limited time.
Space Shake is Hungry Jack’s signature creamy shake with the blending of the same mystery space flavour.
The new shake also features popping candy.
To open the new restaurant there will be a ribbon cutting at 10am on Saturday.
And as part of the grand opening festivities, Hungry Jack’s will be treating the first 100 coffee ordering customers to a free Jack’s Cafe keep cup.
The christening of the new outlet has been timed to coincide with the three day Hungry Jack’s National System Convention to be held at the Cairns Convention Centre from Monday next week.
Hamdig Pty Ltd which is a consortium including Michael Newman and former Trinity Petroleum owner Dean Pradal are the developers that have led the process to create the new fast food restaurant.
The new outlet is Cairns’ fifth Hungry Jack’s, adding to Mount Sheridan, Westcourt, Cairns Airport and Smithfield restaurants.
