35-year-old Normanton woman charged with grievous bodily harm
A woman has been charged with the grievous bodily harm of a 40-year-old man after allegedly stabbing him in the chest in Mareeba.

A woman has been charged after allegedly stabbing a man in Mareeba on Sunday night.
Police have alleged the 35-year-old Normanton woman, Letisha Harries, attended an address in Mareeba where an altercation occurred with a 40-year-old Normanton man.
During the altercation the 40-year-old man allegedly suffered a stab wound to the chest.
The man was driven to Mareeba Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Investigations led police to another address where the 35-year-old Normanton woman was taken into custody without incident.
Detectives from Tablelands Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have charged Ms Harries with grievous bodily harm and one count of contravention of a domestic violence order.
Ms Harries appeared in Mareeba Magistrates Court on Monday, where bail was refused and the case was adjourned to February 27 for a committal hearing.
