Where to cast your vote for the federal election before polling day in South Australia

With the federal election campaign at its halfway mark, voting has officially open. Here’s everything you need to know about pre-polling in Adelaide and throughout the state.

Democracy sausage reviews are in

The 2022 federal election campaign is in full swing with the nation set to head to the polls later this week.

Official election day is Saturday, May 21, but early voting begun on Monday, May 9.

Centres for in-person early voting are now open across all South Australian electorates and on day one News Corp’s team of local reporters canvassed thousands of voters at booths across the country to get an early take on who’s likely to lead the nation.

As the election campaign enters its final week South Australia candidates have not been without controversy.

What is donkey voting and how invalid votes could flip the outcome in Boothby

Barker independent Maddy Fry has defended her social media tirade about pedophile cover-ups and a black market in aborted foetus while Grey UAP candidate Suzanne Waters has warned Australians will be forced into slave labour camps similar to the Gulag.

Whereas One Nation Spence candidate Linda Champion believed her campaign posters had vandalised despite offering cash reward for dobbing in those responsible because of her husband’s ‘black face’ scandal.
