We’re on the hunt for SA’s best hairdresser.

They make the most of your crowning glory and now the race is on in the vote to crown South Australia’s best hairdresser.

Entrusting someone with your precious locks is a big ask, so we want to know which hairdresser has what it takes to spark undying loyalty in their clients.

After thousands of nominations we’ve narrowed it down to a list of finalists and now it’s your chance to vote.

Ranee Cornell Size, Jarnell Cut. Colour. Curl, Kilburn: Ranee Cornell Size is a fantastic hairdresser. The warmth and attention given to every client is amazing. Ranee talks to each and every client about their hair and gives great advice on how to improve our hair. It is always a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. It really is a great experience. Lizzie Johns, Back N Sides Victor Harbor unisex, Victor Harbor: Lizzie is the best hairdresser because she is always excited about the work she does and isn’t afraid to try out new things. For example, Lizzie decided to change the pale copper in my hair to a more vibrant copper and I have had so many compliments on how great it looks – Michelle Monaghan.

Demi Vanderhorst, Demi Rose Hairdressing, Millicent: Demi Rose Hairdressing by Demi Vanderhorst is the absolute best! She has taken her client base with her wherever she’s gone. She can turn drab to fab in one sitting. She’s not afraid to do something different, but works with what the client wants. Not to mention she works so hard, starting her own business with two busy babies at home and another on the way. She makes sure everyone is happy and works around when a client may be available. I’ve been seeing her for years and will do til the day I die – Megan Kate.

Talitha Jade Cowe, The Edit Salon, Hyde Park: Always listens, give great advice, fantastic haircuts and very creative. What makes Talitha stand out is her passion and expertise, that she demonstrates by providing honest recommendations and suggestions and delivers exactly what is wanted or what was recommended. It is always a positive experience visiting Talitha, I feel she is by far the best hairdresser – Megan van Halen.

Kristie Macey, BJ’s Hair & Beauty Salon, Waikerie: I travelled from Dublin in SA to try out Kristie for my wedding hair stylist and was gobsmacked with the work she can do. I wanted a nice clear blonde (not yellow) and was told by so many hairdressers in Adelaide that I wouldn’t be able to achieve it. After my first appointment with Kristie I continued to travel up for hair trials, etc. Come my wedding day Kristie travelled to Adelaide and did my hair plus two bridesmaids, mother of the bride and two flowers girls. After completing our hair she hung around and proceeded to follow us to my wedding ceremony in Williamstown to make sure my hair was absolutely perfect before I walked down the aisle.
