An Adelaide man with a striking resemblance to Jesus faces potential jail time after being caught in his birthday suit but he claims it was just a prank.

A man with an outfit strikingly similar to Jesus is at risk of being jailed after being caught naked in the streets only months after similar behaviour.

Trent Richard Hobson, 31, pleaded guilty in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday to indecent behaviour.

Hobson, who was decked out in a white robe with a red sash and sandals at a previous court appearance, opted for a less saintly appearance this time, wearing board shorts and a hi-vis shirt.

The court previously heard Hobson was observed in the street naked on August 20 at Mile End.

Hobson told the court he had been performing a prank.

The court heard Mr Hobson was breaching a good behaviour bond and a suspended sentence with the new charge.

“Potentially he’s looking at seven days imprisonment,” a prosecutor said.

“In relation to the suspended sentence bond, that was for a matter where he was making sexual references and using indecent language.

“Witnesses observed him urinating in front of them.”

Hobson, of Adelaide, also admitted to breaching the two good behaviour bonds with the new offending.

Magistrate Briony Kennewell adjourned Hobson's charges to the Treatment Intervention Court later this month.
