The local SA footy season is approaching the business end and a number of star forwards have been booting big bags across the state’s country and suburban competitions.
With many names chasing the 100-goal mark in 2025, we’ve got the top 20 goalkickers of the season so far.
Check back each week of the season to see the updated standings.
Goalkickers with the same amount of majors will be ranked under the same number on the standings.
1. FRAZER BRADLEY (Hatherleigh) – 78 goals
Arriving back at Hatherleigh after an impressive stint with Millicent, Bradley has provided a major boost for the reigning MSEFL premier Eagles.
An explosive and skilled forward who can create for teammates and also finish his own work.
2. BAILEY MARSHMAN (Reynella) – 60 goals
Former Crows SANFL player Marshman has been at the top of his game for the Wineflies so far this season.
A star utility with impressive athleticism and a reliable boot,
Marshman has dominated up front in 2025.
3. DANIEL WEETRA (Para Hills) – 59 goals
A consistent star for Para Hills in the AdFL, Weetra has had a strong start to his 2025 campaign.
Weetra is a high flyer with clean skills who often damages defenders with his ability to find space and finish.
4. BLAKE CARTER (Macclesfield) - 55 goals
A superstar up front for the Blood and Tars.
Carter can dominate games with his strength, athleticism and reliable finishing ability.
5. LUKE PAPARELLA (Plympton) - 54 goals
Paparella has been dominant for the Dogs this year.
A strong and skilled player who always finds space and finishes well.

6. JORDAN CAMPBELL (Elizabeth) - 53 goals
Campbell has starred for Elizabeth so far this season.

7. TREVOR RIGNEY (OSB Lonsdale) – 51 goals
One of local SA footy’s greatest ever goalkickers, Rigney has been as effective as ever for OSB Lonsdale.
At 40 years of age, Rigney still has the ability to take high-flying screamers and finish goals from anywhere.
8. RYAN KEMP (Lucindale) - 48 goals
A star for the Roos this season.
Kemp’s ability to tower over defenders and mark forward 5o entries before comfortably slotting home goals makes him a standout in the KNTFL.
9. BEN SIMOUNDS (Keith) – 47 goals
Former Strathalbyn star Ben Simounds joined the Crows in the pre-season and has been a standout in the KNTFL so far.
Simounds often keeps defenders guessing with his leads, takes strong marks and finishes set-shots efficiently.

10. NICHOLAS KRAEMER (Happy Valley) - 46 goals
One of the top players in local footy so far this year, Kraemer has been dominant since joining the Vikings for 2025.
A versatile and highly skilled player who can boot bags and set his teammates up.

11. LEO COATES (Crystal Brook) - 45 goals
The former North Adelaide player has starred for Crystal Brook this year.
Strong and athletic forward who does everything well and can dominate with his goal sense.
12. BLAKE PAWLUK (Rosewater) - 44 goals
Pawluk has been one of Rosewater’s best this season.
A strong and skilled player who takes big marks and can finish from anywhere.
13. JOSH VANDERMEER (McLaren) - 42 goals
A star for his new club this season.
Vandermeer executes smart leads, takes big marks and kicks goals from anywhere.

14. MITCH HAHN (Walkerville) - 41 goals
Hahn has been a dominant focal point for the Cats up front.
Often loses defenders with clever leads and finishes as consistently as anyone in his division.

15. DANIEL MENZEL (Coorong Cats) - 40 goals
Former Geelong and WWTFC star Menzel has been a force for Coorong Cats since joining at the start of the 2024 season and has continued his dominant run this year.
Often playing as a forward/midfield utility, Menzel is the most skilled player in the competition and does damage in multiple ways.

17. JACK LEWIS (Ramblers) - 38 goals
A star signing for the Roosters in the RMFL, Lewis has been dominant this year.
Can play a number of roles and excels as a highly-skilled player up front who can create and finish.

18. MAXWELL SMYTH (Mitcham) – 37 goals
Smyth had an exceptional 2024 season and has been strong again in season 2025 so far.
