A 47-year-old aged-care worker has appeared in court after an alleged sexual assault of a resident at a southern suburbs retirement facility.
Yoon Heok Choe faced the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Thursday, charged with three counts of engaging in sexual intercourse without a person’s consent.
Police allege Mr Choe was working at the aged-care facility when he assaulted a 77-year-old woman on three separate occasions between January 25 and February 9.
Following an investigation by Southern District CIB, detectives arrested the Beaumont man in March, where he was bailed.
The matter was adjourned until July 10.
No pleas were entered and Mr Choe’s bail was continued.
