The kinkiest suburb in South Australia has been revealed – and it’s probably not where you would expect.

Online adult retailer Lovehoney collate its sales data from nearly 2000 towns and suburbs to expose their sexiest customers each year in its Sex Map.

Down south Morphett Vale has been labelled the state’s sauciest suburb coming in at 16th nationally with a fetish for bondage.

Outback town Roxby Downs ranked 19th in the country and second in SA for their similar love of bondage and fetish plugs, just a week after it was revealed the mining community was home to SA’s highest percentage of men.

The dreamers of Adelaide City, who favour fantasy and role play with butlers, followed by Elizabeth generating some heat in the sheets, round out the top four.

South Australia is the fourth sexiest state in the country, with Victoria, NSW and Queensland leading the pack – places where residents have spent more time at home in 2021.

“Our Lovehoney Sex Map has become an annual celebration as we announce the sexiest towns and suburbs across Australia,” director Rob Godwin said.

“As the sexual happiness people, we’re thrilled to be able to use our insights to further champion sexual wellness and sex positivity across the country.

The interactive map (NSFW, check when you’re home) identifies the postcodes who favour a bit of spice in their lives nailing it right down to their favourite toys and fantasies and let’s just say South Australians get busy.

The ‘burbs have clearly been getting hot and heavy this year as the state remains partially restricted due to Covid-19.

The pandemic has encouraged the Elizabeth locals, who have been getting busy with fetish plugs, while those in Davoren Park linger in lingerie and role play accessories.

There is a bit of a buzz in Gawler with vibrator’s the go-to pleasure accessory. The folks just north of Adelaide also have a keen interest in French maids.

“(This year) has been challenging for so many, with lockdowns and restrictions, but it’s been great to see that people are continuing to focus on self care and their sexual wellness,” Mr Godwin said.
