A Sheidow Park woman who was allegedly involved in a brawl at an AFL football game in July last year has failed to appear on time for court.
Natelle Martine Hogg, who was due to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at 10am on Wednesday, turned up an hour late.
However, an arrest warrant for Hogg has since been recalled by Magistrate Mark Semmens.
Hogg, 27, previously pleaded guilty to assault and property damage after she lashed out at the media following an Adelaide Magistrates Court appearance in October last year.
The matter has since been transferred to Elizabeth.
Hogg, who was charged with aggravated assault over an ugly slap in the eastern stands during the third quarter of a match between the Adelaide Crows and Essendon, was enjoying her first night out after giving birth before the alleged incident.
Hogg was due to undergo a psychological assessment before she entered pleas over the alleged AFL brawl.
She is also facing charges of resisting arrest and refusing to provide her details to police.
However, on Wednesday morning in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court, Mr Semmens initially issued a warrant for Hogg’s arrest after she failed to appear.
Mr Semmens said they were “fairly serious matters”.
“This matter has some history … she was in court on the last occasion,” Mr Semmens said.
“I will issue a warrant, the warrant is not authorised for bail.”
Mr Semmens, who would later recall a warrant for Hogg’s arrest, said her psychological assessment “may assist her sentencing”.
Hogg had earlier confessed to assaulting a reporter and damaging a microphone following the October court appearance.
She grappled with reporters in a struggle that lasted several minutes and required multiple sheriff officers to break up.
Hogg grabbed a microphone and smashed it on the ground before storming off with Fitzgerald.
No one was physically hurt.
The tussle broke out just minutes after Hogg apologised to a magistrate for allegedly slapping a man in the eastern stands at Adelaide Oval during a Crows match in July last year.
Footage of the incident, which was circulated on social media and viewed more than 100,000 times, shows Hogg allegedly slapping a fellow spectator who then grabs her by the arm.
This then leads to another man charging in and shoving him as three security guards attempt to break up the fight.
Hogg was later banned from the Adelaide Oval for three years.
