A MAN has been banned from the Adelaide Oval after he was caught breaching the grounds after the Port game on Thursday night.
In a video posted by the Port Adelaide supporters Facebook page, the man was seen jumping over the fence just after the final siren sounded.
He did a few backflips for good measure.
The Salisbury man, 29, brushed past Hawthorn player Daniel Howe before a security personnel caught up with him about 30 seconds later and escorted him off the pitch.
He was reported to police for ground intrusion and banned from the oval for three months.
The incident followed an increase of security measures, including the use of handheld metal detectors and more bag checks, in response to the Manchester terror attack last week.
Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority said they take any intrusion seriously but would not comment when asked if they would take on new security measures following the breach.
