More than 40 “extra large” blocks will be sold for housing in Kangarilla.

Land Australia, a member of the Hickinbotham Group, will sell 44 allotments on the corner of Glory and McLaren Flat roads.

The new project, called Glengrove, is located within the historic Kangarilla township close to the Adelaide Hills, the world-famous McLaren Vale wineries and the southern beaches.

The first 11 allotments are between 1000sq m to 1100sq m and are now for sale.

Land Australia managing director Michael Hickinbotham said Glengrove would appeal to families that wanted large allotments, away from the hustle and bustle of the suburbs.

“With the extra-large allotments, owners can live a greener life with their own veggies, chickens and other produce, or maybe owners have always wanted a big dog and are dreaming of a large backyard with room for the lot,” Mr Hickinbotham said.

“The development also offers ready access to the Southern Expressway making travel to the city convenient.
