Dark side to Sam Smith concert unearthed
A local TikToker is calling out a fan who used the crowd as their private bathroom: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Sam also saw it considering we were three rows from the front.”

It may have been a ‘one-night-only show’ but Sam Smith’s exclusive concert is still the talk of the town, but this time for the wrong reasons.
The guest list ranged from some of the nation’s most well-known faces in television and radio, to local influencers.
However, one concertgoer has called out a group of ‘influencers’ on TikTok for essentially ruining the vibe of the spectacle.
Kate Woolford managed to wrangle a few tickets along with her mother for the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“I’ve never been a big fan of Sam Smith, but I’m a changed woman and I am so lucky to have gone,” she said in her three-minute TikTok video.
Speaking to The Messenger, Ms, Woolford said the evening took a turn when she was alerted to another patron using the crowd as a bathroom.
“A girl pushed past me and said ‘sorry some girl is literally peeing’ and I turned by head and saw this girl squatting, peeing in the mosh,” she said.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Sam also saw it considering we were three rows from the front, it was disgusting.”
Ms Woolford said she recognised the influencers after they were seen mingling with reality stars, calling for the less professional ones to be cancelled from attending.
“They just need to be a little less obnoxious, I’m all for them doing their job but I didn't appreciate them bragging that they had lots of followers,” she said.
“It was disrespectful when it’s such a small and intimate concert.”
The hot-ticket concert, located at d’Arenberg in the McLaren Vale on January 11, has kept people guessing over the price of the event, despite Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison said Sam Smith concert cost is ‘a lot less’ than a million dollars.
