A southern suburbs mother has faced court after being caught drink driving with her kids in the car for a second time in 12 months.

A Marino woman has been convicted of drink driving with her children in the car for the second time.
Carly Jane Williams, 38, was pulled over by police on Ocean Boulevard at Seacliff Park on February 7 this year.
Her blood alcohol level was 0.063 and her two children, now 11 and 13, were in the car.
“She stated her reason for driving was she had to pick up her two children from school and she had been drinking some wine,” a police prosecutor told the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
At the time, Williams was on a good behaviour bond for two previous drink driving charges.
In January 2019, she was stopped for using her mobile phone while driving and recorded a positive blood alcohol reading.
In February that year, Williams was pulled over by police at Old Reynella and blew 0.143 while her children were in the car.
She received convictions for both offences.
Magistrate Lynette Duncan said the 2020 incident was a repeat of her prior offending.
“You really did what you’d done a few months earlier again with your kids in the car,” she said.
“No doubt you recognise the risk you put not only yourself but your children and other road users too.”
Williams was convicted and received a suspended sentence of 15 days to be served under a 12 month good behaviour bond.
She was also fined $800 and her licence was disqualified for six months.
