A good cake is often the icing on top of a good party and we are on a mission to find the best cake makers in SA.

We asked you who your go to for a sugar kick and you responded.

With nearly 1000 comments nominating SA’s best, we narrowed it down to 70 finalists as nominated by readers on our Facebook callout.

Now, as the voting deadline looms, we are listing the top five leading the race and encouraging readers to vote for their favourite.
