Shane McGlynn refused bail after coughing on police office and claiming he had coronavirus
A man who coughed on a police officer and claimed he had coronavirus has been refused bail in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court.

A man who claimed he had coronavirus after allegedly coughing on a police officer has been refused bail in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court.
Shane Junior McGlynn of Clearview was pulled over by police on Dyson Rd, Christies Beach at 1am on Friday.
McGlynn, 30, completed a roadside breath test and was then taken to Christies Beach Police Station for a breath analysis.
It is alleged he failed to comply with the test and coughed in the face of a police officer and stated he might have coronavirus.
He was arrested and charged with assault and refusing to comply with a breath test and received a loss of license for 12 months.
His black Nissan Pulsar was impounded for 28 days.
