Four people allegedly involved in a violent feud which saw weapons fired at a house and a shootout between cars along a busy northern suburbs road, have fronted court.

Police were called to a house on Wallace Rd at Elizabeth Vale after nearby residents reported a large altercation followed by gunshots at about 5.30pm on Friday.

Stunned onlookers then reported a shootout between the occupants of a silver BMW and a dark sedan on Main North Rd in Elizabeth Park with one of the cars’ rear windscreen shattered.

Police arrested four people on Saturday, seizing gel blasters and conventional firearms.

Donna Sell, 36, Christopher Ikin, 37, Andrew Goulding, 48 and Ronald Kirkbright, 39 faced the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday each charged with affray and a range of serious charges.

The police prosecutor told Magistrate Mark Semmens police believed Ikin, Sell, Golding and another woman arrived at Kirbright’s Wallace Rd, Elizabeth Vale property where he lived with another man.

“It appears the two groups are in some form of dispute,” the prosecutor said.

“It’s alleged Ikin, Sell, Goulding (and another woman) attended the Wallace Rd address, exiting a Holden Captiva armed with weapons, they started yelling abuse, smashing windows, inciting the parties from inside to come out and engage with them.

“Mr Kirkbright and two others exited the house and affray occurs, they are also armed when they come out and (the groups) strike each other.

“Mr Goulding receives a broken arm and continues to fight but ultimately the original party get back into the car and leave the address.”

The prosecutor alleged Ikin, Sell and the other woman reattended the property 20 minutes after they left.

Sell was allegedly then seen on CCTV holding a shotgun which she fired into the house.

“Sell then left the house in a silver BMW allegedly driven by Ikin which was followed in pursuit by Mr Kirkbright and another man in a blue commodore,” the prosecutor said.

“One of the occupants of the BMW shoots through the back window of the BMW at the Commodore and shots are exchanged between both vehicles as seen by members of the public travelling on the heavily populated Main North Rd at 5.20 at night.

“These vehicles continued to shoot at each other while driving, that continues for some minutes before all of the parties proceed to where Mr Goulding and Sell live at an address in Smithfield.

“It’s under investigation whether there was perhaps a further firearms incident at this address.”

Mr Semmens said the allegations were extremely serious and caused great concern in the community.

All of the defendants had varying criminal histories including Goulding who served 12 years in jail for a manslaughter conviction in 2006.

Sell was denied bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in May.

Ikin was remanded in custody and will seek bail pending a home detention report on Friday.

Goulding and Kirkbright will also apply for bail pending a home detention report on Monday.

Police are appealing to anyone with further information or dashcam footage of the altercation or cars on Main North Rd to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or online anonymously.
