Court documents allege Putu ‘Gino’ Pacino faces driving charges as assault charges lay pending

A young Gawler barber who jokingly calls himself the “sexiest criminal” has faced court again over an alleged bar brawl – and a number of driving offences.

Gawler Barber deems himself 'Sexist Criminal'

A teenage barber shop owner from Gawler charged with assault is facing a fresh set of allegations, this time over alleged driving offences, court documents reveal.

On Thursday, 19-year-old Putu ‘Gino’ Pacino - who dubs himself the “sexiest criminal” - appeared in Elizabeth Magistrate Court before Magistrate Jayne Basheer in relation to charges of assault, for which he is yet to enter a plea.

Mr Pacino’s appearance was also listed to include a small number of driving charges, including using mobile phone while driving, failing to wear a seatbelt properly and driving with no P plates on his vehicle.

Court documents allege that on December 15, 2022, Mr Pacino was found driving through Gawler on Cowan St while using his phone and not wearing a seat belt.

Other documents allege that on April 22, 2023, Mr Pacino was driving through Evanston without P plates on his car.

The 19-year-old is also facing aggravated assault charges arising from an incident in April 2022.

The court heard Mr Pacino had allegedly been involved in a bar brawl somewhere in the city last year.

Mr Pacino has previously raised eyebrows in a series of videos posted to TikTok earlier in the year, including one where he dubs himself the “sexiest criminal.”

The young business owner can be seen lip syncing to former One Direction member Niall Horan’s track ‘This Town’ inside his Dimentico Barber Lounge, on Gawler’s main street.

He is due to face court again in March 2024.
