A teenage clothing brand and barber shop owner will face trial over a drug trafficking charge.

The 19-year-old, Putu Gino Pacino, pleaded not guilty to drug trafficking in the Adelaide Magistrate Court on Wednesday.

According to court documents, Mr Pacino was alleged to have trafficked in a controlled drug on November 3, at Gawler South.

If found guilty, a charge of drug trafficking has a maximum penalty of 15 years’ prison or a $200,000 fine where the causing harm charge can result in a maximum of four years behind bars.

It is understood Mr Pacino, of Gawler South, purchased Gawler’s Lagers and Barbers from alleged commercial drug trafficking duo North Haven man Matt James Newall and Gawler East man Nick James Rehmann about two months ago.

Mr Rehmann’s charges have since been dropped.

The barber shop has since rebranded to Dimentico Barber Lounge, which sells clothing by Dimentico Streetwear – a clothing brand also owned by Mr Pacino.

It is not suggested that the shop is in any way connected with the alleged offending.

Mr Pacino will face court again in October.

Earlier this year, Mr Pacino posted a number of eyebrow raising TikTok’s, dubbing himself as the ‘Sexiest Criminal’.

The young business owner can be seen lip syncing to former One Direction member Niall Horan’s track “This Town” inside his Dimentico Barber Lounge, on Gawler’s main street.

The 15-second clip, which was posted in March, currently has over 9000 views.

Comments underneath the post say ‘f*n flop’ and ‘cringe’.

Another TikTok posted to the young barber’s account alludes to his belief in God, saying “at the end of the day he makes the last call” as he points to the sky.
