Last chance to vote for SA’s best fish and chips shop

Crumbed or battered? Minimum chips? We’re on the hunt to find South Australia’s best fish and chips. See the shortlist and vote before 3pm Wednesday.

How to make fish and chips at home

Ahhhhhh, fish and chips. A staple in many homes across Australia on a Friday and Saturday night or any night in general because they are just that good.

But it’s no secret local businesses are doing it tough with ever-changing Covid-19 restrictions and we want your help to find which shop satisfied your craving through lockdowns and those blistering summer days.

We’re on the hunt for South Australia’s top fish and chip shop – whether they are famous for the salted chips, fish that melts in your mouth or are known to throw an extra sauce in the bag.

Here are the 30 finalists as nominated by readers on our Facebook call-out. Scroll down to see why these shops made the list.

You must be a digital subscriber to vote in our ‘Best of’ poll. One only vote per subscriber will be recorded. Voting closes on Wednesday, February 2 and the winner will be announced Friday, February 4.
