Having been egged in Melbourne before his warm welcome in Adelaide, it is unclear what reaction awaits United Australia Party leader Craig Kelly ahead of his visit to Mount Gambier.
Mr Kelly is due to touch down in Mount Gambier on Wednesday, before addressing the press and public on a number of his policy issues in the lead up to the May 21 federal election.
Chief among Mr Kelly’s concerns is a Federal Bill of Rights.

Mr Kelly has previously taken aim at both Labor and Liberal for setting Australia on course for an authoritarian future.
United Australia Party for Barker David Swiggs said he was looking forward to the planned visit.
“I really feel there’s the silent majority out there that is really starting to think about how they’re going to vote this time,” Mr Swiggs said.
“They feel like their rights and freedoms have been encroached upon — they’re really looking for an alternative.
“We have some very exciting policies to help save Australia and get it back on track.”
Having spent many years working in rural communities – both as a farmer and in the retail sector – Mr Swiggs said there had been “positive” local support for his election bid, but had seen a stronger base in the Riverland.
Barker is a safe conservative seat, with incumbent Tony Pasin holding the seat since 2013 and taking 57.88 per cent of the primary vote in the 2019 election.
On Wednesday, Labor announced their candidate Mark Braes.
The former Wattle Range mayor recently lost his state election bid for the seat of MacKillop.
Also contesting the seat is Greens candidate Rosa Hillam and Nationals candidate Jonathan Pietzsch.
