Tributes grow for 18-year-old motorcycle crash victim Max Gartner

Touching tributes have been laid to remember an 18-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash at Glenroy, near Penola.

Touching tributes have been left in remembrance of an 18-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash at Glenroy, near Penola, Friday night.

About 8.20pm, Friday February 2, emergency services were called to Glenroy Bool Lagoon Road, Glenroy, just north of Penola, after reports a motorcycle that had been travelling west lost control and crashed.

Sadly the 18-year-old rider, Max Gartner from Penola, died at the scene.

Friends, family and community members have established a touching memorial commemorating Mr Gartner at the site of the tragedy.

His life is the 6th life lost on SA Roads this year compared to 13 at the same time last year.
