A Limestone Coast man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of historical child sex offences.

A Limestone Coast man has been arrested and charged with seven counts of historic child sex offences.
Police say detectives arrested the 72-year-old, but did not reveal the date or location the arrest took place.
He was initially charged with one count of procure a child to commit an indecent act, one count of unlawful sexual intercourse, one count of indecent assault, and four counts of sexual abuse of a child.
However, on Thursday the man fronted court on one count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a child under 12, four counts of maintain and unlawful sexual relationship with a child and one count of indecent assault.
On Thursday the man appeared by AVL in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court from police custody and did not apply for bail. According to court documents the alleged abuse occurred between 1999 and 2001.
He will next front court in December.
