On February 16, Kaesha Elise took to Facebook to remember Ms Bowden and the “beautiful person” she was.

“You have been always my other half, it was like we shared a soul. We still do,” she wrote.

“You are the most beautiful person and I’m so grateful to had met you.

“You were the person that I thought would have been in my life forever and I will see you in the sunshine and the rain.”

Ms Elise continued to explain the pain she’s been feeling in the past few weeks and the difficulty of coming to terms with losing a friend.

“I can’t describe in words how much I love you but you loved the same,” she said.

“You have the biggest heart out of anyone I’ve ever met and you are one of a kind.

“I hope you’re at peace now, you will always be missed.

“Every day I think of you and how you deserved so much more. I love you Amy.”

Ms Bowden’s family, who reside in Victoria, have also received an outpouring of love and support from friends who have posted tributes to Facebook.

“A beautiful angel, loved so deeply by all who knew her,” one friend wrote.

Another wrote: “I can’t stop crying, you guys are breaking (my heart) – beautiful Amy.”
