Bus driver injured with knife in assault by three teenage boys at Arndale station

Police are on the hunt for three teens who assaulted a bus driver with a knife and left him with a cut to his hand.

Three teens have assaulted and injured a bus driver during an attack in the western suburbs.

Emergency services were called to the Arndale bus station after 10.20pm on Saturday following reports a bus driver had been injured in an altercation.

Police say the bus driver sustained a laceration to his hand after approaching three youths after they exited the bus and attempted to open a rear hatch.

The man then approached the youths and attempted to disarm one of the young boys after he produced a knife. He subsequently sustained a cut on his hand.

PolAir and dog operations were called to help find the suspects but were unable to do so.

The three boys are described as being about aged 15 and of caucasian appearance.

One of the boys had blonde hair and was 175cm tall with a slim build.
