Bomb technicians called to Croydon Park after reports of loud bangs from firecrackers
It was a busy weekend for western suburbs police, with a car fire, firecracker reports and a car on the tram tracks at Glenelg.

A suspicious car fire and fire crackers being thrown at a Croydon Park house lead the crime wrap from the western suburbs over the weekend.
KILBURN
Police are investigating a suspicious car fire that occurred at Kilburn on Sunday evening.
About 7.20pm Sunday, September 13 police and MFS were called to Cromwell Street after reports that a Mitsubishi Magna that had been parked in the street was on fire.
MFS were able to douse the fire while police made contact with the owner.
The car was not reported as stolen at the time of the incident.

CROYDON PARK
Police are investigating reports of two fire crackers thrown at a Croydon Park home late on Saturday night.
About 11.45pm, Saturday, September 12 police were called to Lamont Street after reports of loud bangs in the street.
When patrols arrived they noticed damage to a front window of a home and a second cracker in the front yard of a neighbouring block of units. No damage was caused to the units.
Police bomb technicians attended the scene where they removed the fire crackers and deemed the area safe.
Investigations are continuing but police believe it was a targeted attack and no one was home at the time of the incident.

GLENELG
A woman has lost her lost her licence after driving onto the tram tracks at Glenelg early Sunday morning under the influence of alcohol.
Just after 3.30am, Sunday, September 13, police were called to Jetty Road after reports of a car on the track.
When police arrived they spoke to the female driver who had been heading east on Jetty Road and kept going over Brighton Road, straight onto the tram tracks rather then turning left or right.
The 21-year-old from Port Noarlunga South submitted to a breath test and returned a positive result of 0.120.
She lost her licence on the spot for six months and her car was impounded for 28 days. She has been reported for drink driving and traffic offences she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
FLINDERS PARK
Two people were taken to hospital following a domestic incident at Flinders Park on Friday night.
About 10.55pm, Friday, September 11 police were called to a home after reports of an assault.
A man and woman were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
FINDON
A man has been charged with a second stabbing offence after he was arrested on Friday morning after allegedly assaulting a woman with a knife in a Findon supermarket carpark.
Police and paramedics were called to a supermarket carpark on Grange Road, Findon, just after 7.30am on Friday September 11 by reports a woman had been stabbed by an unknown offender.
Fortunately, the victim, a woman aged in her 50s, was not seriously injured during the random attack. She sustained a very minor cut to the abdomen during the assault and did not require further medical treatment.
The suspect had run off from the scene.
Police searched and door knocked the area, with assistance of Western District CIB detectives and Police Dog Jax. Crime scene investigators also attended and examined the scene in the car park.
Following investigations, police attended a nearby Findon address and arrested a 22-year-old Findon man just before 11am.
Western District CIB detectives have linked this morning’s stabbing to the alleged stabbing of a 79-year-old man on May 25.
The man has now been charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He has been refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court at the earliest opportunity.
