Best sites to get a quick PCR test in South Australia and the worst
Soaring temperatures will force the closure of a number of PCR testing sites over the next two days. See the list of the fastest lines and those to avoid.

A number of metro Covid-19 PCR testing sites across Adelaide will close before lunch time with temperatures are expected to soar.
SA Health confirmed those with who have made a booking will receive a text message with further instructions.
“Bookings will be prioritised at the Victoria Park, Ridgehaven or Bedford Park testing sites,” SA Health said in a statement.
“Other outdoor drive-through and walk-in testing sites may close at short notice today due to hot weather.”
Wednesday’s press conference confirmed 3482 new cases and three deaths.
Covid patients are mostly divided between the three major hospitals – the RAH, Lyell McEwin and Flinders Medical Centre.
There was a reduction in the number of patients in intensive care to 23, with four requiring a ventilator.
The total number of PCR and RAT tests administered yesterday was 21,393.
There are more than 80 testing sites across SA, including almost 30 in metro Adelaide.
A crowdsourcing information website has also been developed, “Find a RAT”, to allow people to access data on which chemists and supermarkets have stock available.
Current wait times are all less than a 60 minute wait.
