Whether you're looking to visit some of Australia's squeakiest beaches (like Whitehaven in The Whitsundays, which was just voted the world's best stretch of sand) or you're dying to dive down to Tasmania and take a bracing gulp of air, penciling in an adventure at the start of the year is always a good idea.
Speaking of which: Virgin Australia just launched an Australia-wide sale for 2025, with 800,000 fares up for grabs from as low as $49.
So if your new year's resolution for 2025 was to visit more places or see more friends and family, this eight-day sale is worth checking out. Despite it being mostly a domestic sale, there are also some tasty fares to Bali and New Zealand on offer.
Beyond this, other big name destinations in the sale include Hamilton Island, Uluru, Byron Bay, Proserpine, Darwin, Perth and Launceston.
To book, visit Virgin Australia's sale page from now until midnight AEST Monday January 20, 2025, for select travel dates between January 14, 2025 and November 30, 2025 (fares available until the sale ends, unless they sell out before that).
