The Block stars pay tribute to Pebble & Palm Interiors as owner closes her dream business
The Warradale business owner took to social media to reveal it was now the end of an era for a store that became a “sanctuary”.

A homewares business that wasn’t just as store but a “sanctuary” has shut up shop in south west Adelaide.
Pebble & Palm Interiors, at Warradale, was founded by Amanda Ewbank in late 2018.
However after close to six years trading the Sturt Rd store closed its doors on Sunday.
Earlier in the day Ms Ewbank took to social media, where Pebble & Palm, has more than 7000 followers.
She posted an emotional video in which she spoke about her passion for her dream business, which specialised in coastal and tropical styling.
She thanked her husband Andrew, who was also a fixture at Pebble & Palm, and have a special shout out to manager Lisa, calling her “an amazing human” who ran the business as though it were her own.
Ms Ewbank said the business had a “huge” day of trading on Saturday and was therefore going to close on Sunday, which was earlier than expected.
“We were often told Pebble & Palm was a snatcuary for people and you can’t get better than that,” she said.
Her post was watched by close to 2000 people, with interior designer twins Alisa and Lysandra Fraser, of The Block fame, posting a message of support.
“Oh hun. Congratulations on creating a beautiful store for so many to enjoy,” the wrote, adding: “As the door closes, another one always opens.”
Another post of Pebble & Palm’s Instagram said the Ewbanks were heartbroken to be wrapping up the business and went on to explain: “But the last 12 months have ben incredibly tough in retail and unfortunately this has resulted in the extremely tough decision to close out doors”.
It also talked about how customers had become friends and part of the Pebble & Palm community: “We love our regulars, we noticed those candle purchases you didn’t need..”
