Stamford Hotel group’s grand offering for randy couples to ‘sex-plore’

An erotic video shows a couple enthusiastically simulating 20 positions to promote a new sex escape deal for a major hotel group. It’s password protected . . . well, kind of.

A major hotel group with premium hotels in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane is using a four-minute soft porn video in advertising to entice “incorrigible lovers” to book in for a stay that includes a specially designed love lounge to try advanced positions of the Kama Sutra plus intimacy game kits “so you can sex-plore each other”.

The video shows a completely naked woman and a man wearing jocks enthusiastically simulating around 20 sexual positions – some requiring considerable agility – on a “love lounge” designed to help with angles and gravity.

A warning notes the video is for adults only, and access is password protected — but the advertising gives the password, allowing anyone, including unsupervised children, access.

The Stamford Hotels and Resorts group is offering the Black Label Enhancements deal to its mainstream Romance and Seduction package at its Stamford Grand Adelaide at Glenelg, Sir Stamford at Circular Quay in Sydney, Stamford Plaza Melbourne and Stamford Plaza Brisbane.

The basic Romance and Seduction package has things like rose petals on the bed and in the bathroom, candlelight, champagne, canapes, red wine and late checkout. It is when guests opt for the Black Label Enhancements that things get a little steamy, starting with the “pure love lounge” piece of furniture.

“A vast range of exciting sexual positions are made possible, including the advanced positions of the Kama Sutra,” Stamford’s promotional material states.

“Other positions allow for greater eye contact, physical closeness and tantalising views, providing a significant enhancement to your sense of togetherness and intimacy – leading you to a longer and more pleasurable intimate time together.”

It then invites potential guests to view the video where the agile naked couple demonstrate various positions possible on the lounge.

Potential guests are also enticed with the offer of a “tantalising couples kit” they get to keep.

“This couples set includes a contoured eye mask to restrict your partner’s sight as you tease them with the powerful bullet vibrator,” the promotion states for the Adelaide and Melbourne hotels.

“Set also include two love dice so you can sex-plore each other! Roll the dice to discover what action you’ll have to perform on which body part.”

The Sydney and Brisbane hotels have a slightly different kit, with “a satin-finish vibrating egg, three erotic foreplay dice, and cinnamon-flavoured arousal gel.”

The deal also offers an “aphrodisiac menu to provide that extra zest for life.”

Guests needing a bit of pep in their love life are told: “Time honoured aphrodisiacs, kept secret by many cultures around the world, are part of this selection of tempting and delicious libido-boosting creations.”

It includes dishes featuring oysters, asparagus, pine nuts, ginseng root, ginger and ginko nuts.

Stamford Hotels and Resorts has been approached for comment on how the packages are selling and if it is appropriate to allow open access to the video.
