There’s a reason Jessika Power moved halfway across the world to the UK – and part of that reason was to find love.
The former MAFS star, who found fame in season six of the reality show, is now happily in a relationship with her British beau and podcaster Connor Thompson.
The pair live in Manchester with their dog, Sushi, and when talking to The Daily Telegraph about their romance, Jessika gushed about Connor, praising him for always “treating her right”.
“I had to fly halfway around the world to find the right guy that treats you right,” she said, while taking a swipe at Australian men in the process.
“I think I have had the worst relationships ever, and been through every toxic cr*p you can think of.”
Jessika, who cheated on her on-screen husband Mick Gould with their co-star Dan Webb on MAFS, moved to the UK in 2021 to pursue career opportunities – and of course, to find love.
She said it was nice to have found a boyfriend who is “so secure in himself and trusting”, and now understands that this is how all relationships should be.
The 30-year-old, who is currently back in Australia for two weeks, said she and Connor are just “happy getting to know each other”.
“I have learnt in my life not to take things in leaps and bounds any more, and to just enjoy the moment and that is what we are doing.”
The reality star said she wondered if she would find anyone who would “put up” with her busy lifestyle and “big” personality, adding Connor does “doesn’t let [my lifestyle] affect our relationship”.
Jessika previously revealed she joined adults-only site OnlyFans, making enough money to buy two houses.
She said she earns up to $120,000 per quarter as an adult model, telling the Herald Sun she wished she had “started it a year ago because I would be rich”.
In December last year, the Gold Coast reality star told her 382,000 followers she’s “living her best life” after hitting back at “haters” over her racy content.
“[There’s] comments being made about me and my exclusive content page by people who I don’t know and who just really should keep their opinions to themselves ’cause I don’t give a sh*t,” Jessika said.
“Whatever, keep hating,” she continued. “When you’re pulling out that much money a week, you let me know babe, hit me up, I wouldn’t be dragging you down.
“Do you know literally within the last hour of me making that little rant about the exclusive website, I have in my statements on my account in there, I’ve got $2000 worth of subscribers.
“And you b**ches want me to worry about your opinion,” she said laughing. “I am going to cry all the way to the bank.”
Jessika joined the subscription-based adult website last year.
“I’ve had it since August last year and I am able to purchase two new houses … guess it’s worth it,” she said in a video on her Instagram Stories in February.
“I’ve also funded my whole lifestyle to come here [the UK], I flew first class, I just bought tickets to Dubai in business class,” she said.
