MAFS’ Jessika Power talks about new UK boyfriend Connor Thompson

Jessika Power says she has ‘been through every toxic crap you can think of’ in search for true love. But things are looking up for the former MAFS bride.

Unlucky-in-love reality TV star Jessika Power says she feared never finding her one after copping the villain edit on Married At First Sight.

The 30-year-old is home in Australia after yet again failing in her search for love on television, this time on British reality show Celebs Go Dating.

There, though, she began dating now-boyfriend Connor Thompson, with the pair moving in together.

“I had to fly half way around the world to find the right guy that treats you right,” she said. “I think I have had the worst relationships ever and been through every toxic crap you can think of.

“It is so nice to find a boyfriend that is secure in himself and trusting. I know it is normal and that is how relationships should be but I have only ever had bad relationships.”

Power flew home to help launch Skinny Bitch Wines for Celebrity Slim. She and Thompson are serious and have spoken about marriage.

“We are just happy getting to know each other, living our lives,” she said.

“We have moved in together and have a dog together.

“I have learnt in my life not to take things in leaps and bounds any more, and to just enjoy the moment and that is what we are doing.”

At 30, Power said it had been hard watching friends settle down and start a family as she struggled to find love.

“I thought, ‘what is wrong with me?’” she said.

“I wondered if I would find anyone that would put up with my busy lifestyle, my personality is really big all of the time.

“Connor doesn’t let that whole lifestyle affect our relationship.”
