'Gotta love a bit of D’: Woman spots hilarious ‘extra artwork’ in Kmart order

The “amusing” fail has left fellow shoppers in a fit of giggles, with some questioning how it even happened in the first place.

Mum laughs off epic Kmart fail

Finding the perfect homewares online is a great feeling.

From the moment you click ‘order’ to the day it arrives at your front door, you expect to receive the item exactly as you ordered it.

But one Aussie woman’s order wasn’t quite how she imagined it.

Purchasing a black serving tray from Kmart, the design itself was intended to be just like the picture.

However, when the item arrived, it looked slightly different than she expected.

Mum thanks Kmart for the “extra artwork” on her online order

Sharing the hilarious incident on a popular Facebook group, the Aussie woman posted a series of images of the serving tray.

At first glance, you would be fair to assume it contained dirty water, soup or another sort of brown liquid.

But the discolouration was actually dust, which covered the bottom of the tray and along the sides.

The woman explained she was “surprised” that she was “sent such a dusty item”.

But it wasn’t just the dust that caught her eye. “Thanks Kmart for the extra artwork on my tray!” she added.

On closer inspection, the tray was covered in finger drawings, including smiley faces, squiggly lines and “hello” and “hi” written in the corner.

But to the poster’s surprise, there was an extra cheeky addition to the collection of scribbles amongst the dust.

In the bottom corner of the pan was a drawing of a penis, which the woman said she found “amusing”.

“Just thought others may have appreciated the laugh, too,” she added.

“I thought it was a pot of soup - I wondered how you drew on it!”

Most found the dusty artwork entertaining, stating that the packers must have “been bored” while preparing the orders.

“Omg that’s funny,” said one amused person. “Gotta be happy with the extra bit of D,” laughed another.

Some were confused about the artwork’s design. "I thought that was a pot of soup, and I wondered how you managed to draw on it," said another.

While many instantly recognised the phallic drawing, others claimed it resembled a bicycle.

“I had to zoom in to see it,” said one poster. “All I could see was a motorbike.”

Others questioned why Kmart would send such a dirty item to customers.

“They sent it to you covered in dust like that?” a person asked. “Sure did,” the woman responded. “I was surprised too.”

One shopper suggested returning the item, but others told her that dust is easy to wash away. “Have a laugh and then wash it,” someone responded. “Why are people so dang grumpy?”
