Kmart shoppers' delivery order contains 'unbelievable' find

"Maybe the packing person was having a hard day," the mum wrote alongside the hilarious photo.

Mum laughs off epic Kmart fail

When it comes to online shopping orders, we've had our fair share of failures.

So many things can go wrong - from buying something that doesn't fit you correctly to receiving a box full of things you didn't actually order.

But one mum has taken to a popular Facebook group to laugh off a recent incident with her Kmart delivery and we can safely say we've never seen something like it before.

There wasn't a problem with the contents of the order, but rather the way they were packed.

Let's just say the packing person got a little... creative.

"It wasn't even remotely round"

Aussie mum Ella took to the Kmart Hacks and Decor Facebook group to share a photo of the inside of the delivery order which contained a variety of things like ribbons, mindfulness stacking stones, a wooden storage box and a hula hoop.

She captioned the post: "Something for a Saturday night laugh!

"Ordered a hula hoop for my children at work and this is how it arrived…"

You might not see it at first, but the $5 hula hoop has been bent out of shape in order to fit inside the box and folded so it fits snugly around the other items.

Needless to say, it had been so contorted while in transit that it was no longer useable.

Ella added in the comments: "Unfortunately I was not able to bend it back into shape - wasn't even remotely round."

She gave the budget retailer the benefit of the doubt and added: "Maybe the poor packing person was having a hard day. 🤣"

"I've never laughed so hard at a post before"

Ella was able to laugh at the situation which meant others followed her lead in the comments. The post now has over 1.2k likes and 126 comments.

"Omg this is the funniest thing I've ever seen!" one person wrote.

Another replied: "Love that you're having a laugh as much as it is frustrating."

Then this person pointed out: "If you don't laugh, you will cry."

"I've never laughed so hard at a post before," a different woman responded.

And then somebody else joked: "The kids can hula hoop around corners now."

A different group member suggested, "You should post a video of your kid taking it out of the box and trying to hula hoop with it."

Some people did call out Kmart's delivery system saying, "This is just incompetence at its finest," while another said, "This just shows that not everyone has common sense."

Other comments included:

"No bubble wrap?! 😱 I can’t believe it made it safely in one piece!"

"The same thing happened to me with their hula hoops a few years ago!"

"What is the issue, it's carefully packed and they were extra careful to ensure it wasn't jutting out of the box."

"Isn’t it usually a square peg into a round hole?"
