Mount Lofty House in Adelaide Hills wins Small Hotel and Luxury Hotel categories in major awards

A historic boutique hotel in the Adelaide Hills has been named among the world’s best in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards.

An Adelaide Hills boutique hotel has been named among the best in the world.

Mount Lofty House has taken top spot for the South Pacific in the Small Hotel and Luxury Hotel categories of Tripadvisor’s 2023 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Hotel Awards, announced on Wednesday.

It also ranked 24th in the world in the Small Hotels category.

The awards come from 12 months of guest review data across 1.5 million hotels.

Pinetrees Lodge on Lord Howe Island took the title of Top Hotel in the South Pacific for 2023, while India’s Rambagh Palace won Top Hotel in the world.

Mt Lofty House owner David Horbelt said the accolade was “testament to the passion and dedication of our incredible team”.

“The TripAdvisor awards are so important to us because it’s voted by our guests,” he said.

The historic Mt Lofty House in Crafers offers a range of rooms and suites, and offers both fine and casual dining options across restaurants Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant, and Martha Hardy’s Kitchen.
