Like daughter like mother: How this Adelaide mum made $20k in two months from OnlyFans

This northern suburbs mum was struggling to make ends meet. She’s now made more than $20,000 in just two months – thanks to an unlikely source of inspiration.

A northern suburbs mother has revealed how she made more than $20,000 in just two months after her daughter convinced her to start an OnlyFans account.

Evie Leana is the sole income earner for herself and her four children.

When her 19-year-old daughter Tiahnee came to her asking if she could create an account on the adults-only pay per view website, Evie was hesitant.

“I didn’t know anything about it until my daughter told me what it was,” she said.

“I was really worried by the judgment she might receive and about her reputation and safety – like any mum would be.

“But she went ahead and did it anyway. People will always judge but in Tiahnee’s case they couldn’t be more wrong.”

After Tiahnee told Evie she made $100,000 in her first year, the once-concerned mum began to rethink her position on the site.

So when Leana split from her boyfriend earlier this year and her daughter suggested she start her own account, the mother-of-four didn’t take much convincing.

“I’ve raised my four kids on my own without any support from their dads … so it (OnlyFans) has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,” she said.

Armed with only a phone camera, Evie quickly gained popularity – and landed in the top 1.2 per cent of OnlyFans users in her first month.

“I decided when I started that I wasn’t going to half arse it … I said, ‘If I’m going to do it, I’m all in’,” she said.

“At first it was very time consuming. There’s a lot that goes into it.”

Evie, who also works in management at a beauty salon, now considers the site part of her day-to-day work and rosters time during the week to create content.

Her advice for people who are looking to get into the adults-only field of work: don’t expect easy money.

“Be aware of what you’re getting into, you will face judgment due to the stigma surrounding it,” she said.

“Be prepared to put in the work. It’s not just taking sexy photos and posting them, there’s a lot that goes into it so do your research.

“Set your boundaries and stand firm with them, don’t let anyone pressure you into posting anything you don’t want to and just be your authentic self.”

But while finding OnlyFans fame has been exciting, the mother-of-four says her family remains her No. 1 driving force.

“I’ve always been financially independent – I bought my home myself. Everything I do is for my children,” she said.

“My family and friends are so supportive and everything has been really positive … this is just the beginning.”

Evie is adamant that she would never make content with her daughter, who has also found viral fame on Instagram and TikTok.
