Jetsetting mumfluencer, Laura Jayne Lowe, is taking the infamous sunbed wars into her own hands as she prepares for her holiday in the resort town of Torremolinos, Málaga in Spain.

After hearing about tourists getting up at the crack of dawn to secure a sunbed early, she came up with a genius solution.

"Am I a genius?

In a cheeky TikTok, she unveils her secret weapon; a lightweight, inflatable sun lounge that fits inside her suitcase!

 

For just $8, she plans to bring it with her to the beach in order to beat the queues and snag a prime lounging spot, without the competitiveness.

 

No need to use your towel to 'dibs' a spot any more (we're frowning at you if you do this. 😠)

 

 

She explains, "I booked a holiday without reading the in-depth reviews.

"It turns out it is the worst sunbed wars you have seen in your life where I am going.

Laura then showed off the blow-up sun lounge she bought after some "2 am scrolling" and we have to admit - it looks damn comfy! 

She adds, "It can go completely flat in my case and as long as I take an air pump, it’s no problem and it's no bigger than a lie-low to carry down to the pool."

She then shows how easy it is to fold and fits it in her suitcase. She concludes by asking, "Am I a genius?"

After the viral reaction, Laura said, "Have I just started something here? Have I ended Sunbed wars? 😂"

Hilarious 'sunbed wars' video shows the reality of holidaying at a resort

It comes after a hilarious sunbed wars video went crazy online, for showing the reality of holidaying at a resort. 

While holidaying in Tenerife, Spain, one woman filmed fellow travellers racing to their hotel pool to reserve their gold-class spot along the pool's edge.

The hilarious footage shows a big queue of people rushing to place their towels on a sunbed (or two, or three, or four...) at 9 am when the resort allowed them to go out and claim their spot.

Jess Clarke, 28, who hails from London, captured the iconic summer holiday battle from the comfort of her balcony.

Her cackle observing the people racing out is infectious. And their desperation is just the entertainment those stuck in a cold winter in Australia needed.

If only they had a portable and inflatable sun lounger like Laura!
