NEWS of “jaw-dropping” prices at celebrity chef Neil Perry’s new Sydney restaurant shows Adelaide’s most luxurious foods are looking very competitive — by comparison.
His $50 entree, a crab salad, and $72 pigeon main course, have spurred The Advertiser food team to hunt for examples of the highest-end dishes around Adelaide.
There are pretty pricey degustations such as those at Magill Estate, Hentley Farm, and Orana, and a four-course monthly wagyu dinner for 12 people at $400pp at Electra House, but we have focused on a la carte dishes for those occasions when you are in the mood for truly lashing out.
Let us know if there are any grand dishes you recommend — or ones we missed. And have you tried any? Let us know what they’re like in the comment.
