The highly coveted luxury Christmas advent calendar by Haigh’s Chocolates is making a comeback in 2023, but not without a hefty price increase.
The calendar, which features an assortment of handmade one-of-a-kind chocolates, is retailing for a whopping $1275, an $85 increase from last year’s price of $1190.
The new price tag is also a $200 increase from when the calendar was first introduced by the company in 2021.
Featuring 24 silver embossed doors, the calendar is Australian made and handcrafted.
With two years of the calendar selling out, Haigh’s Chocolates chief executive Alister Haigh said the calendar “celebrates the true craftsmanship, imagination and meticulous artisan skills of its chocolatiers.”
“We are truly passionate about our premium quality, bean-to-bar philosophy at Haigh’s and
are committed to creating truly memorable chocolate experiences,” he said.
“Through hours of research, flavour creation and exact finishing, the chocolates created this
year are a true testament to this.”
The 2023 Calendar includes exclusive chocolates dark dig frangipane tart, milk caramel tart,
triple chocolate truffle, dark Aperol spritz ganache, milk chartreuse and walnut ganache, dark
elderberry and macadamia ganache, milk florentine, white Snowball, dark raspberry frog and
milk passionfruit frog.
The limited edition Christmas treat will open for online pre orders on September 26.
