Locals and visitors have been loving Robe Hotel – and its superb scenic views overlooking the Southern Ocean – since 1847.
And now there’s even more to love about the historic pub, which is about to unveil the final stages of its major renovations, which are on-trend without forgetting the much-loved pub’s heritage.
The beer garden, bistro and sports bar have all had makeovers.
An outdoor bar and casual picnic style tables have been added to the beer garden, while the bistro also has a new bar, carpet and furniture including booth seating.
The sunroom also has a triptych art piece inspired by Limestone Coast flora and fauna by Perth artist Pippa Scheepers of George & Gina.
Robe Hotel’s traditional pub menu, has also been given a revamp with “fresh and local” doshes such as Crab Spaghetti and Limestone Coast Lamb Rump. The popular pub favourite “Parmi Night” is locked in for Tuesdays.
The hotel is also hosting a “Locals Weekend” from May 3 to 5, with beer garden games and live music. On the Friday there will be a fresh seafood tray raffle and on the Sunday kids can eat free when you buy a main meal.
“This revamp has been a long time coming and we know our community will love it just as much as we do,” Robe local and venue manager David Murch said, adding: “We’re throwing a ‘Locals Weekend’ to welcome everyone back. It’ll be the perfect way for our patrons to see what’s new and break-in the revamp.”
