Brewboys Brewery announces sudden closure with final pints poured over weekend
A beloved western suburbs brewery has closed its doors, joining a growing list of defunct businesses as the hospitality industry’s woes deepen.

Croydon microbrewery Brewboys Brewery called last drinks over the weekend, after announcing their closure on Facebook on Saturday morning.
Management took to social media “with a heavy heart” to share the devastating closure announcement stating that it “wasn’t an easy decision”.
“To our loyal customers, thank you. Your friendship and support has meant the world to us over this incredible journey. You are the heart and soul of this brewery,” the post said.
The owners also thanked their “amazing families” and “incredible staff” for their support and dedication while they pursued their “dream”.
The post has been met with an outpouring of love and sadness from Brewboys faithfuls.
“Sad day for the Adelaide beer scene,” one commenter wrote.
“Thank you for the good times and the drunk times,” another added.
The venue hosted a last drinks on Sunday, inviting patrons for one final pint before they closed their doors.
Known for their assortment of beers, wine, gin and hard lemonade as well as their mouth-watering wings, Brewboys was founded by mates, Dan and Owen in 2008.
Their Regency Road taproom was a favourite with local TAFE students, a watering hole for families and a beloved live music venue.
The news comes after fellow Western suburbs eatery, The Loose Caboose announced their imminent closure over the weekend after 13 years in business at the Bowden Railway Station.
