We, here at The Advertiser, are so serious about giving you the first look, that we even let you have a sneak peek before our big reveal.
Adelaide fashion house couture+love+madness has given us an exclusive preview of a number of designs from its Spring/Summer 24 Red Carpet Collection, weeks ahead of the official launch.
But if one of the gowns looks familiar, it is because we put you in the picture earlier this month when we shared an image from the Magarey Medal red carpet.
It was all thanks to a happy snap of Lauren Gibbs, the wife of South Adelaide’s recently retired Bryce Gibbs, who wore a yet-to-be-released couture+love+madness gown.
The sheer lime number is just one of the designs, from the new collection, that we can show you.
We are sharing the looks with you in a series of photographs – taken by Weronika Mamot – of India Prince, from The Models, whose hair and make-up are by Janelle Zara and Pia Bedregal.
This comes in the lead-up to a showcase of the Red Carpet range at Sofitel Adelaide’s Garcon Bleu on Saturday, October 14, from 1pm to 3pm.
The event will include a high tea and Q&A with couture+love+madness founder Cristina Tridente, hosted by stylist Mirella Romano.
The unveiling of the first CLM Bridal Collection will also be a highlight.
Recently celebrating her engagement to fiance Petar Filipovic with family and friends, Ms Tridente has been designing and creating made-to-measure wedding dresses since she founded her brand in 2011 – as a TAFE SA fashion graduate.
This tradition will continue, but CLM Bridal is her first range of bridal wear, from which clients can select a style on display and then have it tailored to suit their figure and embellished to show off their personality.
While you’ll have to wait to see this concept at the Garcon Bleu event, we can show you more of the Red Carpet designs.
Ms Tridente has created bespoke pieces for Dannii Minogue, The Veronicas, Amy Shark and Sam Smith, whom she met earlier this year.
Tickets to the event, which includes the high tea and a glass of Moet & Chandon NV Champagne on arrival, are available here.
