Coachella street style punters try their hardest to be noticed

DRESSING for comfort seems to be low on the list for these punters at the first weekend of Coachella 2016.

THE COACHELLA music and arts festival is as well known for its fashion as it is on the music calendar.

Its close proximity in Palm Springs to celeb, model and actor-filled Los Angeles provides a plethora of punters who are more than willing to dress up and pose wildly for the roaming photographers at the festival.

Dressing for a festival in the good old days meant throwing on your trusty sneakers, a hat and a band t-shirt of choice, but not anymore.

By the looks of some of the festival goers below, it’s likely months have gone into planning their complicated looks.

Unfortunately some fell short in the individuality stakes, as seen with this crocheted dress below. Four women were seen in the same dress, and they’re just the ones that were photographed. Awks.
