Celebrities at Coachella: Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry pack on PDA
KATY Perry and Orlando Bloom only had eyes for each other at the star-studded music festival, but there were plenty of other celebrities in attendance too.
LOVE was in the air for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom at Coachella this weekend, while exes Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter risked an awkward run-in.
According to The Sun, Katy and Orlando were spotted cuddling up together at the star-studded musical festival in California, packing on the PDA right in front of stunned fans.
Actor Orlando dressed appropriately for the sun-kissed event in a Hawaiian shirt, while Katy tried to stay under the radar with big shades and her hair hidden by a blinged-up rag.
Though the star was no doubt having fun with her boyfriend, Katy was at the festival for both business and pleasure.
She used the event to plug her new lipstick range in a pouty selfie, which she captioned: “Day 1. Coachella. Coral Cat. #katykatmatte.”
After swapping Orlando for another gal pal, Katy went out of her way to make a bigger impression in an eye-catching cloud jumpsuit and pink buns.
The happy couple seemed to successfully avoid Orlando’s ex Miranda Kerr and current boyfriend Evan Spiegel, who both kept a low profile at the festival.
Elsewhere, former flames Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter came close to bumping into each other as they wandered the festival grounds.
McFly star Dougie was tweeting from Coachella on Friday, the same day as Ellie’s performance.
The ex couple then shared snaps on Instagram of them celebrating with pals just hours apart yesterday.
Ellie, who confirmed their split to The Sun last month, posed next to three male friends while wearing tiny shiny hotpants with the caption: “RAVE”.
Dougie, meanwhile, posed up in front of Coachella’s ferris wheel with two friends for a photo he captioned: “Greek sandwich.”
Highlights from yesterday’s Coachella included Kesha making a surprise appearance during Zedd’s show for her first performance since the Dr Luke sexual assault case.
The singer belted out a defiant track called True Colours, which features the lyrics: “No I won’t apologise for the fire in my eyes / Let me show you my, my true colours / It ain’t no rainbow.”
An excited Kesha teased fans about the performance on Instagram from her private jet, writing: “Tonight has a magic to it ... 4 hours and counting somewhere over America.”
Sam Smith also wowed the crowds when made an unannounced appearance during Disclosure’s set.

The former Spice Girl added some raunchiness by flashing her red bra and teaming hot pants with kinky fishnets.
She attended the festival with husband Stephen Belafonte, just a few days after he was spotted leaving an LA eatery with a mystery blonde.
